Officers, the deadline to renew your members is fast approaching. Clubs that do not have at least 8 members renewed by September 30 will not be in good standing with Toastmasters International, and be placed in inactive status. This means clubs do not have a vote in District or International business, and their members cannot compete in speech contests.

This is a good time to be reminded of the importance of keeping in touch with your members, and the having a plan in place to regularly follow-up with members that have not been attending regularly.

Membership renewals are done through Club Central on www.toastmasters.org. A self-pay option can also be activated by the club officers, which allows members to log-in and pay their own membership dues. Note however, that only the Toastmasters International dues can be paid this way, if your club collects separate club dues, you would have to collect those another way.
