Dear Fellow Toastmasters,

It is with excitement, gratitude, and optimism that I welcome you to the new Toastmasters year, 2025–2026! Whether you’re a new member just starting your journey or a seasoned leader with years of experience, this is a fresh opportunity for us all to grow, connect, and achieve more together.

Each new Toastmasters year brings the chance to reflect, reset, and reach higher. I encourage every member in District 33 to set new goals—whether that means earning your next communication or leadership award, taking on a new club role, or striving for the Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) designation. Remember, every great achievement begins with a single step, and every speech, every meeting, and every leadership opportunity moves you closer to those personal and professional milestones.

Our clubs are the foundation of our success, and strong clubs are led by empowered, well-trained officers. Club officers—this is your moment to shine and sharpen your skills! Throughout the year, District 33 will offer valuable training sessions, workshops, and opportunities to collaborate with fellow leaders. I encourage all officers to participate actively—your growth as a leader enhances your club and our entire district.

To help you stay connected and informed, I invite you to take full advantage of the resources available to you. Our District 33 website, online calendars, and newsletters will keep you up-to-date on upcoming events, officer training, speech contests, conferences, and much more. Be sure to check them regularly and encourage your fellow members to do the same.

Together, let’s make this Toastmasters year one of learning, laughter, and lasting achievements. Let’s support one another, step out of our comfort zones, and enjoy the incredible journey that Toastmasters offers.

Here’s a year filled with growth, success, and positive experiences. Welcome to the 2025–2026 Toastmasters year—let’s learn and grow together!

Darnell Evans, DTM
