Your dedication to driving renewals and welcoming new faces is truly making a positive impact! Events like Open Houses, themed outdoor meetings, tabling, Speechcraft, and anniversary celebrations are powerful tools that highlight the value of Toastmasters and inspire growth. By nurturing both new and existing clubs, we’re creating a momentum that helps every club thrive and reach new heights of excellence. We’re incredibly grateful for your commitment and so proud of the progress we’re making together.
With the warmer weather upon us, it’s the perfect opportunity to host outdoor events such as tabling at local exhibits, farmers’ markets, or fairs. These relaxed, engaging events allow us to connect with new people, share the Toastmasters story, and build meaningful relationships—plus, they’re an excellent way to discover your next Toastmasters member or leader, all while enjoying the sunshine.
An Open House is a fantastic way for both potential and current members to experience a live meeting—complete with speeches, impromptu speaking, and valuable networking opportunities. It’s an inspiring way to show how Toastmasters transforms lives. Similarly, Speechcraft offers participants hands-on experience that boosts confidence and hones public speaking and leadership skills in a fun, supportive environment.
I’m especially excited to highlight the recent successes in Division A and Division F. Division A hosted an amazing Open House at the Quartz Hill Library, drawing both current and prospective members. Division F organized a wonderful event at a local restaurant, building strong connections and sparking excitement. I had the privilege of attending both, and the energy was truly contagious! It was uplifting to see new members join and witness the growing enthusiasm for the Toastmasters journey.
Division F Director Debby Baker, DTM, PDD, led an inspiring Speechcraft session that left participants feeling empowered and eager to continue their Toastmasters journey. Another successful session, led by Dennis Ham, DTM, IPG, wrapped up with a group of technology professionals, setting the stage for the potential launch of a new club in Division G. This is just one more example of how District 33 is growing and expanding!
Many clubs across our district are embracing hybrid formats, bringing fresh ideas and vibrant energy to the table. If you’re planning a membership or club-building event, now is the time to take action. We’re here to support you every step of the way!
Let’s continue building, growing, and connecting. Together, we’re creating a lasting impact!
