Attached is the flier for our next Club Officer Training

The goal is to have all seven officers trained for each club. Our Club Officers get rained twice a year. The first period is June 1 through August 31 – which is NOW. As of July 24th (today) our status is as follows:

Those clubs in GREEN – congratulations you have all seven officers trained and meet the Districts goal

Those clubs in YELLOW – congratulations – you have met Toastmasters International minimum goal of four officers trained

Those clubs in RED – you have some work to do to meet the minimum requirements of four officers trained

There is an Officer Training being offered by the District this weekend (July 26th) – see the attached flier. All clubs that have not yet met the District goal of seven officers trained are highly encouraged to attend officers training. The sooner we get our officers trained the easier it is for them to do their jobs.

Upcoming Club Officer Training (COT) Opportunities (Round 1):

Club officer training is open to all Toastmasters. We encourage those interested in future leadership roles and/or who want to learn more about Toastmasters and club officer positions to attend one (or more) of these training sessions.

In order to be part of the DCP program this year one of Toastmasters International requirements is to submit your club’s Club Success Plan via Club Central. We have until the end of August to make this happen. Not every club submitted their plan yet so there is still some work to be done.

We are quickly approaching the end of the first month of the Toastmaster year. Elections were held. New officers are in place. Some clubs were moved to different Divisions. Contact information for club may have changed.

It is important that the data for each club is up to date. Both on the club website and the Toastmaster International website. Club officers have access to club central and can make any adjustments as needed. Each club has its own webmaster that should make website updates as needed.

Clubs with three or more members but less than 13 members are eligible for a club coach. If your club fits into this category, please reach out and get a club coach assigned. There is training going on for club coaches as we build a pool of new coaches. Anyone interested in becoming a club coach contact Bill Jones of the DTM Club.
