Club Officer Training
Congratulations !!!!
All clubs have reached the Toastmasters International goal of at least four Club Officers trained.
Special shout out to Moo Communicators, Memorial Hospital Toastmasters, DTM Toastmasters Club, and Membership Masters for getting all seven officers trained. Woo Hoo well done.
AREA DIRECTORS – Great job getting Club Officers trained. A big THANK YOU to Debbie Allmon for putting together extra training sessions and helping to ensure we meet the goal. Debbie I don’t know what I would do without you.

Club Success Plan Submissions
In order to be part of the DCP program this year one of Toastmasters International requirements is to submit your club’s Club Success Plan via Club Central. We have until the end of August (District goal) end of Sept (TI goal) to make this happen. Not every club submitted their plan yet so there is still a little work to be done.
If your club is highlighted in yellow, then your club needs to complete and submit your Club Success Plan.
If you are having trouble with getting it completed, reach out to your Area Director or myself for some guidance and let us help you meet this goal.

Provide any assistance necessary to get this task completed before September. You will need to review these plans during your club visits to ensure the clubs are doing what they say they will do and are meeting their goals.

Club and Toastmaster International Websites
We are quickly approaching the end of the second month of the Toastmaster year. Elections were held. New officers are in place. Some clubs were moved to different Divisions. Contact information for club may have changed.
It is important that the data for each club is up to date. Both on the club website and the Toastmaster International website. Club officers have access to club central and can make any adjustments as needed. Each club has its own webmaster that should make website updates as needed.
There are several clubs who have the wrong data in Find a Club of the Toastmasters International website. Several clubs also have outdated information on their club websites. PLEASE check your data on both sites. Ensure it is up to date so that new members looking for you acquire the correct information. If the info is wrong those prospective members will not find you.
AREA DIRECTORS – Please contact your club officers and advise them about making any necessary updates – especially contact information. The wrong information means people looking for their club are going to the wrong places. If they need assistance, feel free to extend a helping a helping hand.

Club Coaches
Clubs with three or more members but less than 13 members are eligible for a club coach. If your club fits into this category, please reach out and get a club coach assigned. There is training going on for club coaches as we build a pool of new coaches. Anyone interested in becoming a club coach contact Bill Jones of the DTM Club.
AREA DIRECTORS – the District goal is to get every club that is eligible for a club coach to be assigned one. Please encourage your clubs to get a club coach. Club coaches will help each club to achieve Distinguished or better status.
