City Of Bakersfield had an open house and recruited two new members. City of Bakersfiled Toastmasters is a closed city government program for employees. President Tanyia Wright led a one hour program, including member testimonials, guests participated in creative table topics.
Josh, one of the guests, was asked to create a conspiracy theory. He told a story about a snake with two arms that lives in the tunnels Of Bakersfield. It was hilarious and skillfully delivered.
Yaz, VP of Membership, had a wonderful PowerPoint on the benefits of Toastmasters. It was projected to several monitors in the room, displaying impressive tech skills.
Refreshments and handouts were provided.
Kudos to other presenters Ana, Macey, Linda, Chris and Tanyia on contributing to a wonderful membership building event.
