Welcome to District 33 Toastmasters!

“If you get out of Toastmasters all there is to get out of Toastmasters, you’ll never get out of Toastmasters” — Helen Blanchard, Past International President, Toastmasters International

Toastmasters is a program that empowers individuals to become more effective communicators and leaders.  We teach these skills through a network of more than 140 clubs located throughout central California, from the coast to the deserts. (Map). We are here to help you to improve your public speaking, presentation, and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth!  The heart of the Toastmasters Program is the club experience.  This is where a Toastmaster’s journey begins.

In 2021-22, our vision is that all District 33 members will achieve their communication and leadership goals while enjoying their Toastmasters experienceOur District goals are: (1) support our clubs to provide a high-quality club experience where members are achieving their communication and leadership goals; (2) provide our members with opportunities for learning and growth outside the club setting; and (3) spread the benefit of Toastmasters to more people.  Our focus is described by three words: Discover – Learn – Impact

The 2021-22 District 33 Leadership Team and I look forward to supporting your Toastmasters journey!

Discover

Through our Toastmasters journey, we discover.  We may discover our voice; discover new insights, discover a new passion; discover confidence.  We each discover something unique to ourselves as individuals.

Learn

Through our Toastmasters journey, we learn new skills. We Learn to communicate and lead effectively; learn to adapt and be flexible; and we learn to use these skills in our personal and professional lives to greater effect.

Impact

We use our new skills and knowledge to have a positive impact on others.  Impact on our family.  Impact on our colleagues.  Impact on a population we have a passion to serve.
