SUMMARY:District Council (DC) Meeting 2025-09-20
DESCRIPTION:REGISTER & REVIEW\nMembers of the District Council* \nDistrict 33 Director\, Darnell Evans\, DTM\, has called the first District Council (DC) meeting for 9/20/2025 at 2:30 PM\, PDT. This virtual event will be held via zoom\, registration is required.  Please note\, registration will close at 11:59 PM on September 19\, 2025\, as we need to finalize the quorum. \nRegister Now\nPolicy Details: An agenda shall be posted at least fourteen (14) days before the meeting. All voting at this meeting will be conducted electronically. Voting members that register before the deadline will receive ballots when it is time to vote at the email address used to register for the event. The ballot will be weighted based on the number of votes carried. Presidents and Vice Presidents Education of clubs in good standing will each carry one vote\,and can carry the vote of the other if one is not present\, and may carry up to two (2) votes maximum. District Officers also carry one vote and can carry up to a maximum of three (3) votes when also serving as a President and/or Vice President Education. Quorum is established by representation of at least one-third (1/3) of member clubs in good standing. \nReview: Meeting Packet\nAmong the items of business will be adoption of the District Budget\, and confirmation of the appointed District Leaders. Furthermore\, it is anticipated that the Council will determine what Speech Contest(s) to hold for the District Speech Contests\, based on a recommendation from the District Executive Committee. \n* The District Council consists of All Club Presidents\, Vice Presidents Education\, and all DEC Members\, which includes all 29 Area Directors\, all 8 Division Directors\, the District Director\, PQD\, CGD\, PRM\, IPDD\, Administration Manager\, and Finance Manager.
