Good Morning District 33 Family,

…And District 33 is off to a Great Start. Most Club Officers Trained, new members all of the time and clubs have recently chartered. Yep-that’s a great start. In fact, I even attended 3 Club Officer trainings myself (2-virtual/1-in person).

Last month we had District 49 Director (Now IPDD), Kory Ikeda to share what he’s learned in Toastmasters Leadership and where it has taken him. What a story he had to tell. Most interesting since he comes from an engineering background. Now….I was fortunate to get another outstanding District Leader to join us for our next “Get More out of Toastmasters” session. Steve Goldstein and Flora Turner shared the spotlight as District 33 Program Quality Directors at the same time (I and Kristin Harrell were their Club Growth Directors at the same time also and Tim Mullins was our D33 Director).

This particular year, we had a TOP 5 instead of a TOP 3. The next year Flora took on District 33 and Steve took on the new District 115 (Las Vegas area). I was fortunate to be there at their Grand Opening celebration when D115 separated from D33. What an event!

Anyway, Steve has taken the lead as D115 1st District Director and has left quite an impression that still carries on. Don’t miss this one.
