The Distinguished Club Program goal 9a requires four club officers to be trained between June 1, 2022 and August 31, 2022. Our District 33 Goal is all 7 officers trained. A 100% Club Officer Trained Pink Ribbon will be given to each club that trains all 7 officers. In order to earn Goal 9 both Round 1 and Round 2 require at least 4 officers trained.
It is suggested that the club officers for each club verify the District 33 Division and Area Performance Dashboards on Toastmasters International to make sure all officers trained receive proper credit. All training must be complete by February 28, 2023 and submitted to WHQ by March 31, 2023.
Topic: Conducting Quality Speech Contests
Area directors oversee area speech contests, and division directors oversee division speech contests. When area and division directors have a good understanding of the contest process, rules, and resources, the contests’ quality is enhanced. The roles that area and division directors play in speech contests vary by district. In this session, area and division directors learn how to find answers about contests using the Speech Contest Rulebook (Item 1171) and discover other resources so that they are equipped to oversee speech contests in their areas and divisions.
