Annual Business Meeting – Virtual

District 33 Club Presidents and VPs Education
Dear District Council Members,
This year, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, as directed by the Board of Directors of Toastmasters International, the Annual Business Meeting/District Council Meeting will take place virtually on Saturday, April 25, beginning at 10:30 AM. If you have not already done so, please register using the link provided in the email sent to you on Saturday, April 11th. We’re asking everyone to sign in at least 15 minutes earlier for any technical issues that may arise. Our meeting can accommodate up to 500 attendees. The meeting agenda and minutes from the previous District Council meeting are located here.
The District Council consists of all club Presidents and Vice Presidents Education (VPEs) plus the District leaders who comprise the District Executive Committee. A quorum is required to conduct business. Therefore, we must have 1/3 of the District’s club Presidents and VPEs in attendance.(NO Proxies this year.)
During this meeting, we will be electing the new slate of officers for the 2020-2021 Toastmasters year. New this year is our Candidates Corner. In addition, any realignment of clubs will be voted on. The realignment proposal can be viewed at this link. Ballots will be emailed to each attendee during the meeting. At this link you can download the profit and loss statement for March.
